This Garden Maintenance project involved a Tree Branch Removal in Ivybridge.
The Challenge
The tree’s branch had overgrown over the customer’s driveway, which was causing a health and safety hazard and necessitating removal. We were called out to Ivybridge to remove and clear the tree branch to resolve this issue.
The clients had a similar branch come down in the winter and were unable to get their car out of their drive, so they wanted us to get this one sorted while the weather was still decent. It’s always fun getting the chainsaw out on big trees like this!
The Solution
When visiting the clients’ home to provide a quote, we discussed the method for safely taking down the branch, bit by bit, using ropes, to ensure a safe dismantling of the tree’s branch.
Once they had agreed to the quote and to the work being completed, we got started by laying protective sheets on the ground to prevent a mess on the driveway. With our tripod ladder to reach the branch, we used ropes to carefully dismantle it, piece by piece, and cut it with our chainsaw where needed.
The clients didn’t want their plants damaged or destroyed, so we worked carefully to avoid dropping the branch onto them.
The Results
After the tree branch had been removed, we tidied the area, making sure that we didn’t leave any mess behind.
The client can now safely use their driveway without fear or concern of damage during storms or high winds.
