Project Snapshot
As a local Gardener, our Garden Services were requested by a customer in Plymouth to transform their outdoor space through a Garden Maintenance and Landscaping visit.
The Challenge
We received a call from a customer asking if we could come out to help transform some of her garden. Our Garden Services were needed in Plymouth because it was very overgrown and too much for her to maintain.
We visited the garden the following day to discuss how she would like it to look. We took a walk around the garden, and she said she would like 90% of the plants removed from the front garden beds, all the weeds taken out, and a feature created from her rockery with new stones placed into three of the beds.
The garden beds were very overgrown, with a LOT of weeds and brambles to remove. We also discussed and decided to rescue as many of the plants as possible and transfer them into her current pots, which were, at the time, full of weeds. The customer also wanted to buy some new plants for us to plant in any pots we could not fill.
The Solution
So work began on removing the unwanted plants, weeds, and brambles, resulting in three van trips of green waste to be disposed of.
Now, everything that needed to be removed, had been. Wendy asked if we could pressure wash her patio to brighten up the garden and give it a good clean. We started this after the day’s gardening at 5pm and finished pressure washing around 8pm. We must admit we were shattered after that very long day; however, we did get a very nice tan on this job, as the heat did not let up.
It was then onto putting in the wooden borders of the beds, which would have the stones, and putting in the new sleepers for the rockery. Then it was just a case of laying the membrane, putting in 2 tonnes of stone, and planting all the new plants, etc.
The Results
We’re absolutely over the moon with the result of this turnaround for our Garden Services in Plymouth. The customer absolutely loves it, and we’re now maintaining her garden on a 4-weekly basis.
