Your new patio is going to be a stunning new addition to your garden. This will create a stylish and practical area that you can enjoy for years to come. We know the importance of not only how perfect your new patio looks, but also the integrity of the structure that goes underneath. This is why we professionally install quality sub-bases and glue the back of every tile to a full bed of cement to ensure your new patio stands the test of time. We have a vast range of patio paving samples for you to choose from, so this will give you all the inspiration you need to decide on your final design. We are also members of the APL (Association of Professional Landscapers), so you can be safe in the knowledge that we are also externally audited for our work and we work to the highest standard.

Patio & Paving Design & Planning
Whether we are replacing your existing patio or paving, or installing a new one, we will start your project by:
- Visiting your home to assess your outdoor space & complete a site survey
- Evaluating the damage to your existing patio or paving, e.g. overgrown weeds, dropped tiles, popped jointing, etc.
- Discussing your design preferences & bouncing ideas off each other
- Going through your colour & material choices, such as grout, porcelain tiles, concrete pavers, stone slabs, etc.
- Measuring your space & writing up a free, no-obligation quote
Patio & Paving Installation
Using high-quality, durable materials designed for high-traffic areas, our tried-and-tested methods, and extensive knowledge of what does and doesn’t work, we will first take out your old wood decking, etc. and then install your patio or paving to the highest standards, including:
- Supportive membrane underneath to prevent stone migration & sinking and provide support
- 150mm of 803 Sub Base (50mm above standard specifications) to eliminate the chance of movement in the years to come
- Glue applied to the bottom of the tiles to avoid popping, delamination & movement
- The entire underside of the tiles covered with glue mix & installed on a full bed of cement, giving you a strong, durable patio
- Non-porous, high-grade cement/resin hybrid grout used to prevent tiles from popping & jointing from coming out due to frost
Aftercare & Ongoing Maintenance
Once we have installed your patio or paving, we will:
- Clean down the site, making sure everything is tidy
- Walk around your patio or paving with you, making sure you are happy with the results
- Talk to you about how to maintain your new patio
- Give you a discounted rate on any future Pressure Washing/Garden Maintenance visits you might need to maintain your garden to the highest standards, if required

Project Highlight
A Patio Installation Project in Plymouth
Feel free to take a look at one of the Paving projects we completed in Plymouth, which involved a Porcelain Patio Installation.
The Challenge
When we met the couple to discuss their project, they had plans for a two-tone, framed-effect patio at the bottom tier of their garden. We also had the added challenge of working around a manhole cover.
The Solution
To tie in with the rest of their garden, concrete blocks were installed to create uniform-height steps with greater depth for easier climbing. We also installed an AcoDrain so any runoff water would be carried away correctly.
Levels were recorded, and we set about installing the sub-base. A protective sheet was laid, along with a substantial depth of hard granite sub-base, to provide a strong foundation. Sub-base layers were compacted in 50mm increments. Once we had outlined the design with line-marking paint, we started laying the tiles and cutting as needed with a wet tile cutter. Additionally, we removed the existing manhole cover and replaced it with a recessed option.
The Results
For the finishing touches, we capped the tops of the steps with the same light grey porcelain tiles used throughout the main patio to tie everything together.
For a resilient and pristine finish, we used Kerakoll Fugabella Grout. The whole design was based on contrasting light and grey porcelain tiles, with the darker grey in the internal centre square and the outline border. As you can see from the photos, the end result is stunning, and our clients were very happy with the work.

Yes, we are licensed to remove most kinds of waste, including green waste, rubble, and soil. This ensures any waste can be removed at the end of every project by our trucks and trailers, allowing us to take away any waste produced easily and cost-effectively.
