- Visit your home to assess any damage to your existing fence, such as rot, posts being installed too far apart, or untreated & poor quality timber
- See where new fencing is needed
- Carry out a fence inspection to see if we can provide repairs instead, if you prefer
- Take measurements to calculate how much material will be required
- Discuss your design and finish preferences, including whether you require a Gate
- Provide you with a free, no-obligation quotation
Feather Edge Fencing Installation
To ensure your Feather Edge Fence withstands adverse weather conditions and is built to last, we follow our tried-and-tested process to the highest standards of workmanship and aesthetic appeal:
- To start, we take down and dispose of your old fencing.
- To prolong its lifespan, we use incised UC4 timber posts, which are treated with a tanalising treatment.
- Every timber fence post is installed at least 2 feet deep for stability.
- Bottoms of fence posts are fitted with Postsaver Dual-Layer Barrier Sleeves for extra 20-year Post Saver rot protection.
- Clean Stones are positioned at the base of the post for drainage.
- Postcrete is poured to prevent movement & support the posts for enhanced strength & durability
- A maximum installation distance of 1.8 metres between each post to strengthen your fence & avoid snapping or failure in high winds
- Capping is installed to provide a visually pleasing finish & help with preservation
Aftercare & Peace of Mind
